Brewin Dolphin Commodore's Cup 

21st -28th July 2018

 

 

The Brewin Dolphin Commodores' Cup 2018 is an international offshore regatta for national teams racing under the IRC (Endorsed) rating rule (but not under team racing rules).  The event is held within UK waters biennially.

Cowes Classics Week

Cowes Classics Week began in 2007 as a modest event for classic day boats, however with support from racing sailors exceeding all expectations, we continue to extend a warm welcome to expanding fleets from the huge number of classic one design classes, together with one-offs and a separate class for Old Gaffers.

Gazprom Swan European Regatta

ClubSwan is celebrating a successful Gazprom Swan European Regatta as well as the inaugural Gazprom Swan 60 World Championship and 2013 Swan 45 World Championship. Held simultaneously during July in Cowes, at the heart of global yachting, the three Nautor events offered both owners and crew with exemplary Swan sailing.

For over 28 years Little Britain Challenge Cup has been bringing together thousands of property and construction industry professionals through sailing, and it has grown to become one of the top sporting events in the industry calendar.
Participants have helped raise over a million pounds for sailing charities that do extraordinary work for the less fortunate in society. It is a fantastic way to socialise, network, team build and, most importantly, get on the water.

Panerai British Classic Week

The classic yacht regatta in the UK. Now in its 14th year, the annual Regatta of the BRITISH CLASSIC YACHT CLUB not only attracts entries from these shores but also regularly from Europe and occasionally from Canada. The regatta is perfect for classic boat enthusiasts to enjoy some fantastic racing and to get together with like-minded individuals with the same appreciation of owning a classic boat.

Rolex Fastnet Race

The Fastnet Race is a famous biennial offshore yachting race organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club of the United Kingdom. Generally considered one of the classic offshore races, 'Fastnet' is a difficult contest testing both inshore and offshore skills, boat and crew preparation and speed potential.

RORC Easter Challenge

Organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) the RORC Easter Challenge provides an early season opportunity to have a great weekend regatta. Easter is generally seen as the official start to the Solent Racing season so usually has a lot of boats out brushing off the dust and getting their racing sorted out.

RORC Myth of Malham - Saturday 27t May 2017

The trophy and race are named after the yacht ‘Myth of Malham’ which was a 37’6″ sloop built in 1947 by Hugh McClean & Co at Greenock and designed by John Laurent Giles for John Illingworth. Myth of Malham won the 1947 and 1949 Fastnet Races and in 1957 was part of the winning team for the first Admiral’s Cup.

Round The Island Race

The annual Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight, an island situated off the south coast of England. The race regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world.

The Vice Admiral's Cup 2017

The Vice Admiral's Cup this year incorporates the British trials for the Comodors Cup is organised by the RCYC (Royal Corinthian Yacht Club) and are held in the Solent. Racing is competitive and high-octane, and with seven inshore races over the three days it's guaranteed to be an action packed event!
